Land Run?

As you may or may not know, Oklahoma became a state in 1907. This year there will be lots of attention on the fact that Oklahoma is almost a hundred years old, at least here in Oklahoma there will be.

I'm not sure why I was dressed up like a prairie girl, but this picture makes me chuckle! That's my big brother in the picture trying for some reason not to laugh. Don't you love my bonnet? I loved wearing it when I was little!

Dresses like that must be an Oklahoma thing. I have pictures of me in prairie dresses. We have a cute picture of carly in a bonnet too. I'll have to find that thing......

You are a cute little Prairie Girl.

R & Jules, yes, the black tights were a must!!!

Suzy and Badoozie, I spoke with my mother last night, it was for a school event that I had to dress up like a prairie girl, bonnet and all! I don't have a bonnet anymore though.

Funky Redhead! You're back! You've been missed! And you're right, I have seen those skirts around lately. I don't really like them on me but they look cute on some of the girls I've seen wearing them.

Anonymous, you have confused me. Butter... are you commenting on the color of my dress?
