1 O LORD, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
"God will not deliver him."
Selah
3 But you are a shield around me, O LORD;
you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.
4 To the LORD I cry aloud,
and he answers me from his holy hill.
Selah
5 I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.
6 I will not fear the tens of thousands
drawn up against me on every side.
7 Arise, O LORD!
Deliver me, O my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.
8 From the LORD comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people.
Selah
I got some disturbing news yesterday from my doctor. They'll retest me in October. God will take care of it by then I'm sure. Until then, this is my prayer.

I turn to the Psalms in such times as well. I have a special journal that I actually handcopy the Psalms into. It is very centering.
That is a wonderful idea Madame Rubies (Heather?). David (and the other psalmist) went through so tough times and even though we don't go directly through the same challenges it never ceases to amaze me how their words are exactly what my heart is saying! Thank you so much for commenting on my blog!

It was good seeing you yesterday! Sorry to hear about your news but we serve a BIG God!!

Take care of yourself, Leslee. Check out some acupuncture?
Don't check out some acupuncture, it is wrong....no offense.

(still haven't got to dealing for your invitation... it's on my list!)
Leslee, we have been steeped in Psalms right now, too. I sure hope and pray the news will be GOOD in October.
Remember that whatever it is, it has passed through His hands first. He will be your strength and will pour out His grace upon you!
