We took Peanut to her school's open house last night. Her teacher was hired yesterday. The teacher she was suppose to have is out on medical leave and may or may not come back later in the school year. This information had me just a little bit worried. But in conversation we discovered she owns a Chevelle.

Hmmm. You'll have to tell us that story someday.
Okay what in the world is she doing witha chevelle, muscle car?
Hope she is a good teacher.
Ok, I guess you might need a little background story. My husband is a Chevrolet man. Especially Camaros (we currently own 3 but during our 7 year marriage we've owned and sold at least three camaros) but not limited to Camaros. He also loves the Chevelles, Novas, Monte Carlos, and Corvette's of the 60-70's.
When I was pregnant he teased me about naming Peanut Camaro and Monte Carlo. She is named after a car, but it's neither of those two. If you think real hard about this post you can figure out her name.
As far as the teacher. She's married and I suspect her husband is the one that who mostly has to do with the Chevelle, I own 2 of our 3 camaros, but really Nickel is the one that takes care of them.
My father is a muscle-car fan, too. His greatest regret is that he sold his black-with-white-racing-stripes '71 Camaro before moving to Texas. He keeps a photo on the end table as a reminder of his stupidity.
I have figured out Peanut's name. It is Z/28.
No, Mugsy, her first name is SS and her middle name is 454.
Oh, and Mugsy, I love the '71 Camaro. And black muscle cars with white stripes...well, let's just say there's a reason Nickel is Peanut's daddy...
How funny!!
What a beautiful name.
Thanks Mugsy, we're kinda partial to it too!
You named your daughter Yugo?
Gremlin?
Chevy? Okay, just kidding. I know what your DAUGHTERs name is and mine is now changed to the famous American Indian name, "Likes Tar and Feathers"
