Busy busy

I hope you all can forgive me for lack of deep intersting posts. I also hope you're not sick of my childhood pictures but I'm really enjoying them and hey, they beat posting nothing!

As the finance girl January is my busyest month. Normal months are a little hectic for me as I live in last month and the current month for the first 10 or so days while I close out the last month. But January...well, there's years involved as well as months and everyone wants all their tax information.

So, unless the weatherman is right, which of course is possible even though none of the local ones can actually get close to agreeing, I might be stuck at home for the weekend giving me plenty of time to post something you all are use to, or not, but maybe at least I can get caught up on all your blogs!

Here's a picture of some winter weather we had in days past. I'm pretty sure we didn't have to go to school for like a week after that snow!

I hear ya, with the year-end stuff.

Your posts are always just wonderful. The pictures are cute and you always have something witty to say.

Enjoy your weekend and pray that we still have electricity so we can blog!!

Dear Anonymous, thank you for your correction. However, I have chosen at this time to not go back and edit my post. I can tell by your heartfelt comment that my misspelling deeply bothers you but to be honest I will probably continue to misspell words on a daily basis. Yes, there is spell check but it doesn't recognize a lot of real words and takes more time then I have to give. Please remember that this is my blog. I write it as I want for no one in particular except myself. If my misspellings bother you that much please read elsewhere.

Thank you, have a great day.

We are all stocked up on the important things in our house preparing for the ice storm: Pop Tarts, Milk, Cereal, Chocolate Chip Cookie mix, COFFEE, Diet Pop and toilet paper. We all got plenty of movies for Christmas to keep up busy so if we really do get iced in and the electricity stays on, we will be piled up watching movies getting porky.

Mmmmm Coffee...the ice storm we had back in '02 left us without electricty for two weeks. I'll be happy as long as that doesn't happen again this year!

We're stocked and ready, and I actually have the weekend off, so I won't have to feel guilty for not driving to town.

Lynn, the weatherman acts like you might get more of the icy stuff then me. Hope you don't mind. I'm not planning on doing a darn thing this weekend except maybe watching some movies as long as we have electricity.

I went to the grocery store yesterday. It made me laugh, there were no carts so I caught a girl that was coming back in with one and gave myself 15 minutes to get everything I wanted. I didn't bother getting anything perishable. We have plenty of meat in the freezer and milk in the fridge. The check out lines were long but there was one that was backed up into the bread. I didn't get in that line I went a couple lines down where there were only two people ahead of me. When the bread line people realized that we didn't have to wait as long as they did they felt stupid. I tried not to laugh out loud.

Oh goodness...so busy. I feel like I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off since May when we first started house hunting!

I am still in Orlando, but will be home tomorrow...I am hoping to get in some blog time, too.
