Sometimes I hate not having an ipod. I don't know that I'd really listen to it that often if I had one. But there are times that I wish I did. Like tonight. I'd like to listen to some, shall we say secular music. Oh well, even Yahoo's music only wants to play christian and classical music to me. Oh well, there could be worse things.
So Thanksgiving is at my house this year. My parents probably won't be able to come. This really disappoints me but there's nothing I can do about it so I'll just go on. I'm not sure what to fix. I could be really boring and fix what we normally have every year, ham and all the trimmings. But something inside me really wants to have bbq instead. I guess I could do both, huh? We can have left overs. I'm also going to fix a pumpkin cheesecake thing that sounds really good. I'll let you know how it turns out. What are you having for Turkey Day?
I've been tweaking around with my page. Did you notice? I wish I was more creative. Wait, I am creative, I just don't have time or desire to sit down and make it look as snazzy as I'd really like so this'll have to do for now.
I finally named my car. Her name is Gia. Nickel looked at me like I was talking Greek when I told him. But after explaining how I came up with the name he just shook his head at me. He's such a boy!
Ah... Seven Mary Three just came on. I'm a happy little girl now.

i'm sure their are millions in africa who can empathize with you..... and i only say that because i've probably never heard of a i-pod because they don't have TVs......... or electricty.. but i'm sure they feel for you.

I thought our house was the only one left with no i-pods! To hear the teenager, you'd really think so. (He's such a deprived child. haha)
I have no idea what we're doing for Thanksgiving this year, probably at home with just us. I still don't know if I have to work that day. If I do, we'll have the very traditional meal of Pizza! :)

Lynn, my husband wants to know if he can come over to your house for Thanksgiving. He'd much rather have pizza and nachos then anything that resembles tradition.

I like what you're doing with your template. Are you learning from a "person" or a "tutorial"?

Madcap, Emmasometimes did show me how to change it from the the boring blogger stuff. After that it's just hunt and peck, trial and error for me.

Ahhh yes, the mighty iPod. I hope to get one over the holidays. They are great fun. And cool. Not only to use, but to look at as well. And I bet the people in Africa really would like you to get one too, because Apple has a special promotion on the Nano, where $10 from every special iPod purchase goes to the AIDS relief fund in Africa!

I'd definitely give up 10 mp3's for AIDS research.

Your blog looks nice. Speaking of which I really need to update and reorganize mine.

so, on the ipod thing.....well...i sold my old one to AJ, or i'd have sold it to you...on my ipod i have all sorts of music in there, christian and secular....sometimes late at night, or other times when it's really quiet? i can hear noises, and i discovered, theres a tussle going on inside the little ipod thingy, and the secular and the christian songs are fighting, and calling each other names...."biblethumper!", "heathen"! "jezebel!", "uptight", "judgemental"......i'm not sure who wins? but lately, a lot of van halen has been playing.............................
