1) Snow: love it or hate it? I love to watch the big fluffy snow flakes fall. And see where the wind blows it. Snow usually disappoints me because it interupts my plans. I hate to try to drive in it because there are a lot of stupid people out there who can't drive and don't know how to drive in snow or think because they have four-wheel drive they have four-wheel brakes --NOT!
2) First snow memory I don't know about my first snow memory, but I remember my 6th or 7th birthday and it started snowing hard and I cried because I didn't think any of my friends would show up for my party, but they ALL did! It was one of my best birthdays! We had balloon fights in the living room. My mom made everyone teddy bears. It was great!
3) Best Snow Day ever (actual or imagined) Last year it snowed the really pretty fluffy flakes and they of course canceled school so Peanut and I went home and put on sweat pants over our jeans and extra shirts and gloves and made a couple of snow men then we had a snow ball fight and made snow angels. Then we went in and I made hot chocolate while she took a warm bath!
But I also remember one time when I was in school my friend Candy Cane and her brother came down the hill to my house and the four of us (my big brother too) rode sleds and inner tubes down the hill then we'd walk back up it just to go down again!
4) Best use of snow in a movie, song, book or poem I have no clue! There are lots of people who like snow and write pretty things about it.
5) What you are planning to do today, with or without snow. We have no snow left (barely got a dusting which was fine with me) so I'll run my errands today and work like I'm suppose to... you know, like I'm doing right now.
2) First snow memory Blizzard, Meno, Oklahoma, 1966
3) Best Snow Day ever (actual or imagined) Imagined: Enough money not to worry about things. Sitting next to a fireplace in a library full of books with a fine cigar and a glass of extremely good Port and looking out a picture window at snow falling on a beautiful mountain scenery.
4) Best use of snow in a movie, song, book or poem Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow in the movie Die Hard 2
5) What you are planning to do today, with or without snow. See the Narnia movie, which has lots of snow in it.
