Snow

I woke up this morning. Can you call 2 am morning? Anyway, I'm awake. I could not go back to sleep so I got up and checked on Peanut. She was sleeping away tucked into her bed. I made sure her covers were on her and noticed outside her window that it seemed more bright then usual. Even without my glasses I could see there was standing snow on the fence. SNOW. I'm excited and I don't even like cold weather. I walked to the living room and looked out the little window in the door. I could see more snow coming down but I couldn't tell how much we had recieved. I walked to Nickel's play room to the back door to look at the snow on my car. At least half an inch, but again, I don't have my glasses on. I walked to the dining room where I looked at the back yard. I expected to see my Eskimo playing in the snow. I guess he was asleep. Smart dog. I walked to the kitchen where I again looked out the window. The snow looked so perfect. Untouched. Pure. That got me thinking, or maybe it was the Spirit who reminded me that Isaiah 1:18 said, "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." Our Lord died so that our scarlet sins could be washed WHITE AS SNOW! What an awesome reminder He sends us in this form of snow. Pure, life giving snow. If you want to read my prayer stop by the Cornerstone Universe.

Be well my friends. May you have snow in your life to remind you of the promise made to you!
