Your Turn

Ok, I'm opening up my blog today (and maybe a couple of days we'll see how it goes) to your questions.

Ask away!

If there's a question on your mind that you'd like me answer now's your chance. I may not give you this chance again.

Every question will recieve an answer an if it's a really really long answer then I'll make a post out of it.

So, here we go!

I've got two questions...

How old is Peanut? I have her pretty young in my mind and I don't want to be reading along and find out she's on her way to college next year. : )

What type of denomination are you? (Nosy I know but I love to know where everyone goes to church!)

Jules, you're not being nosy if I tell you to ask me questions.

Peanut is 5 going on 15. She can be mature for her age one moment and the next acts like a two year old. This is a real picture of her.

I am Baptist but find most other denominations very intersting. Growing up I had no idea what the Christian Calendar was and assumed only the Catholic celebrated things like Lent. Oh the things we learn when we move away from home.

Here's a question: Why don't you post pictures of yourself and family?

P.S. My brother showed me the Christmas card of Peanut. Just gorgeous! Did you do that yourself or at a studio?

Real Picture of me and my family taken at a wedding back in October. I'm usually the one behind the camera so I don't have a whole lot of pictures of me.

Dawn Muncy of Muncy Photography here in Enid took the pictures that we used as our Christmas card. I am going to see if she'll allow me to post them on the blog of if she can put them on her website for everyone to view.

Wow! What a great looking family and I love the pic of Peanut. She is absolutely adorable! :) Thanks for posting the pics. Now we just need to talk Jules into posting a pic of herself! ;)

Thanks Claire. I think she's adorable too but I'm biased. She thinks she's adorable and works it to her advantage...

Jules, I agree with Claire, post a picture!

Hee hee...I LOVE this game...I may have to steal it. And Peanut is beautiful (as is your family :)

One questions for you...hmmm...I think I know the answer to this...are you a member of the church where you work or do you attend elsewhere?

Or, if you don't like THAT question, there is always: If you could eat a crayon, what color would you eat and why?

Leslee said...

I like both questions so I'll answer both.

First, no I do not attend church at the church I work at. I started attending Cornerstone Baptist church not long after we moved to this town in 1999. I did not start my job at Oakwood Christian unil February of 2004. Though they tried to guilt me into changing churches I would not do it. I love my little church and Oakwood is too big for me. Plus unil most of the people I work with I actually get to worship on Sundays instead of work.

Second, if I could eat any crayon I would have to eat Red because I'm sure it taste like cherry and cherry is one of my favorites. Blue and Green are my favorite colors but I'm afraid of what they may taste like.

Leslee,
Thanks for the picture of the fam. You all are gorgeous.

I fully agree about having to "work" on Sunday. It would be so nice to just go have church and not have your mind on how everything is going and what you have to do next.

You're welcome. I pulled both pictures from my archives. I'm sure you all just missed them. I don't post them very often.

It's wonderful going to a church you don't work at. I highly recommend it. I think people I work with wouldn't take advantage of their jobs like they do if they got to actually worship on a regular basis.

I'm so in love with peanut. She, as well as your whole family, is just beautiful!

As for me...don't you think some things are better left a secret?

Leslee said...

No.

There shall be NO secrets!

Thanks for the compliments.

No secrets, Jules!!!

Do you have any pets, and if so, do they attend a mosque?

Leslee said...

Mugsy, I do have a dog. His name is Snoogans. He is an Eskimo and is very proud of his Native American heritage. Perhaps some day he will visit your mosque though.

Kit the Kat, is catholic.
