Blog about your dog day

I bet you didn't know, but today is Blog About Your Dog Day. Yes-sir-e-bob!

This is Snoogans. He is part Eskimo and part Samoyed. He is the most mellow dog I've ever met. He came to live with us last August. After a couple of weeks of playing escape artist games he finally settled down and is perfectly content to hang out in the back yard. For the first several weeks he would pee on the Winnie dog that lived next door through the fence. But now they just chase each other up and down the fence. There was a husky that also lived right by us Snoogans and the husky would sit at the fence talking for hours. But the husky went away one day and hasn't come back. Snoogans loves the winter and gets down right giddy when it snows.

Snoogans likes long walks around the neighborhood(especially when we walk to pick Peanut up from school and ALL the kids pet him). Peanut. Treats. And taking naps under the tree in the back yard.

Thanks for visiting Dawn! I think your dad and I are alike in that manner then. I'm pretty much a cat person, but this Eskimo has touched my heart!

What a beautiful dog you have. When we were very young we had a Eskimo and that was one of the few dogs my dad ever liked.

aww shucks, I wish I had known about this special day. I'd have loved any excuse to write about Jackie...not that anything's really stopped me before. Hmmm...
