The Moment You've All Been Waiting For

Ok, I was being a little coy with you yesterday not telling you what a wonderful day I had last Saturday. The truth is, I left my camera in Tulsa yesterday and didn't know until this morning that it was safe and sound. My wonderful sister-in-law found it and rescued it. We're trying to decide if it's safe mailing to me or if we should just wait and see if I come to Tulsa or my mother-in-law (who lives close to my sister-in-law) comes to Enid first. I wanted to put up the pictures I took Saturday because a story isn't a good story without pictures, you know. But since it might be a few weeks I'll just go ahead and tell you.

I got to eat at Sam and Ella's!

Oh, wait, that doesn't read very impressive, does it? Well, say the name out loud

Sam and Ella's. (a little article in Southern Living mentioning it!)

Funny, isn't it! It's this great little pizza place near the college in Tahlequah. Ok, but if you're thinking that's not the highlight of my weekend then you're right.

Ding ding ding! Hang that blogger a prize!

Well, I'll tell you more about my trip to Sam and Ella's tomorrow after the shock of the name has worn off a little bit.

My husband knows a family from his hometown. They're Italian immigrants. Last name is Manella. They called their kids Frank and .... Sam. Sam Manella is a lounge musician. Imagine.

True Story!

I wonder if I could bring myself to eat at a place called Sam and Ella's. There's a little town about an hour and a half north of here called Boyle, and the restaurant bills itself as "Home of the Boyle Burger". Urrgh.
