Mystery #3

Two men go into a cafe. They order exactly the same soda. The first man drinks his soda quickly and leaves. The second man drinks his soda slowly (over a number of hours). The second man dies. What happened?

It's an ice cream soda and it spoils because he's taking so datgum long to drink it and he gets food poisoning.

Okay, obviously I didn't give this a lot of thought. LOL

Carbon monoxide poisoning. A slow leak in the building.

Or, the first man knew man 2 was a slow drinker, poisoned his pop, and left. And once you start to be poisoned, well, you just get slower and slower, right?

Or, they ordered two sodas of the same sort, but Man 2 ordered the Big Bird Special Edition size, and it took him that long to finish it, upon which his stomach exploded.

Or, the second man is such a daydreamer that he didn't notice the wild woman with a crazed look in her eye enter the shop, brandish a gun, and begin to fire at random. He was reading, you see. I live with a man like this. If he's reading, truly, a bomb could go off beside him and he'd still be on a 10-second delay.

Okay, you've got all my best ideas now, Leslee. Now I won't be able to think at all for the rest of the day.

the accumulation of carbon dioxide in his blood caused his lungs to not perforate his blood with the required amount of oxygen, thus causing suffocation.

cokuslocuscroakus is the correct medical term for this condition.

*snicker* ;o)

Cindy, nope, not ice cream soda

Madcap, the first man didn't poison the second man. Nor did the second man order a larger size, and there was no bomb.

AJ, no carbon dioxide (you really need a vacation!)
